Just asking for some tips of making the most out of my high res zbrush models

i just noticed when i export the high res models from zbrush into normal maps well details tends to get lots when i transfer them back as normal maps onto the low poly mesh

aside from higher resolution normal maps, or adjusting the low res by adding more divisions and such

any other ways of making the most out the zbrush high res models?

Hello everybody!
I have a small problem concerning displacement maps. I Have a high res model of a couch with sculpted stitches and seams on it and i want to apply these stitches per displacement map to a renderable object.

Until now, the Displacement map produces pretty strange results in the rendering (tried with mental ray for Maya and Houdini). The rendered seams look spiky and ugly.
The Displacement Settings in MultiMap Exporter are all standard (Scale 1, Intensity 0, Adaptive 1, 16bit). The sulpted Seams on the Highres Model look good and smooth.

Images:

ZBrush:

What could cause the problem?
And what exactly do the two values "Intensity" and "Scale" mean? (The Multimap Help offers a pretty confusing explanation)

For example, my little shelf on the right has to Tools panel in it, and I find that the new Subtool and Geometry rollouts are super long. I would love to rip the subtools one out and put it in the shelf on the left so I don’t have t scroll up and down so much. If anyone knows of a way to do this I would appreciate it. Thanks.

I’m making a deliberately simple model of a dragon, so that I can bring it into 3ds max and add the details there. However for some reason the dragon’s wings have crazy-high resolution, much greater than any other part of the mesh despite the simplicity of their zsphere structure. I figure I must have tweaked a slider somewhere, but I don’t know where.
