I’m making a deliberately simple model of a dragon, so that I can bring it into 3ds max and add the details there. However for some reason the dragon’s wings have crazy-high resolution, much greater than any other part of the mesh despite the simplicity of their zsphere structure. I figure I must have tweaked a slider somewhere, but I don’t know where.

I try to get my zbrush4 pipeline to work. With GoZ Zbrush exports the object to MAX, but I miss all the maps. Does anyone know how to solve this Problem?

Does anyone know if it’s possible to assign an Alpha from lightbox to the current brush in Z4? I would rather store custom alphas in lightbox as opposed to importing them one by one to the alpha palette or having a hugely unwieldy alpha palette. It only seems to open the alphas in lightbox through spotlight.

I am currently attempting to use transpose master v4 in zbrush 4 but everytime I apply the changes to the original mesh it crashes. The warning message comes up telling me that the topology has changed, even though it hasn’t and crashes. Also objects that are hidden appear in the tpose tool at random. I have to admit I am disappointed with zbrush 4 so far it seems to be bug ridden and none of the new tools are of much use to my workflow, I am still amazed there is no 64 bit version. 3.5 worked fine on the same machine. I will be posting a ticket with zbrush support, but since that takes time to get a response I thought I would see if anyone had any ideas.

Hi Guys,
I have a character where I have used a ton of zsphere subtools over the mesh which I used for modeling wires and stuff.
Is there a way to convert those to mesh and have the mesh appear where the zsphere’s are and replace it instead of converting them one by one?
I was hoping to collapse all the zsphere subtool layers into one layer but apparently you cant do that.

Here’s my problem: When I try importing the model, press import in the "Tool" tool-bar nothing happens at all… I’ve tried to do it in or out of edit mode, but since I’m new to the program I’m rather clueless tried to look it up myself but just cant seem to find a solution.

Windows XP 32bit
Zbrush v3.5

Hi, I am a true Zbrush newb… I’m really hoping that theres a real simple solution to my problem and that i will feel really dumb after you guys tell me it.. I have been Zbrusing a head and clicked on Projection Master to start texturing it, then i clicked on polypaint and my model stoped being editable, and now whenever i load my document the head shows up but i can’t change it, and when i get out of Projection master it turns into a sphere… is there a way to get my model back?
