I finished the last bits of the drawing and stood up to see how it looked… All of a sudden they all started clapping and grinning! It was quite an experience to receive a round of applause after finishing a drawing.

There is a therapeutic aspect to drawing an imaginary image on the street as opposed to replicating an existing oil painting.
You don’t feel as much pressure, because people don’t quite know what to expect. However, the downside is that you get less money dropped in your ‘begging pots’ simply because people don’t recognise it.
