Charles Bargue Cours De Dessin Drawings

An excellent way of training your eye as an artist is to accurately copy master artworks. Various techniques can be used to measure and check the lines and shapes you create. I am currently copying four increasingly difficult levels of Charles Bargue lithographs to help train my eye in observing and representing the forms and tones in these works. Charles Bargue is best known for his production (in collaboration with Jean-Léon Gérôme) of the Cours De Dessin.
